A 2 year old child from poor home.He is joyful and enjoys playing with toy. He is the first born in the family. his father was a taxi driver lives in njimtilo community. He have a dream to become an engineer in the future. A child developed progressive upper back swelling with discomfort. After seeking medical attention elsewhere, doctors scheduled surgery following examinations and tests. However, financial constraints surgery postponed. Hope arrived when the parents learned of Helpster Charity,they rushed to UMD Medical Clinic, where their child was re-assessed and scheduled for surgery upon Helpster charity approval. On presentation at UMD, the child was evaluated and a biopsy among other investigations done revealed a diagnosis of Huge Lipoma with no Malignant cells. Awaiting surgery once approved by Helpster Charity.

Mohammed Isa,a 2-year-old boy, presented with a history of progressive upper back swelling since 1 year, accompanied by back pain and discomfort. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Huge Lipoma(Benign tumour).He underwent successful surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Mohammed recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

Removal of the large lipoma through surgery can be an effective treatment, offering a good prognosis. The child's health and well-being are expected to significantly improve post-surgery.
