Meet Iliya Ahmed, a vibrant 9-year-old boy who is full of life and energy. As a Primary 3 student at LEA primary school, Iliya is always on the move, bursting with enthusiasm and a passion for learning. His dream is to become a football star one day, and his infectious smile can light up the entire room. His parents, filled with worry and desperation, watched helplessly as their child's condition worsened, unable to afford the medical care he desperately needed. A neighbor informed them about Helpster charity and they came seeking for help. At our hospital, he presented with symptoms of prolonged stooling, fever, headache, and loss of appetite. Thorough evaluation and Laboratory investigations confirmed a diagnosis of severe dehydration and high levels of malaria parasites and typhoid antibodies, indicating a serious infection requiring prompt treatment.

The child made good recovery following treatment with some ACT, pai killers, IV fluids and antibiotics. His 7days of horror and pain came to an end because Helpster showed up for him when he needed it most. He is now fully recovered and has resumed his normal life
