Her father, Md. Rasel, works as a laborer on river transport, earning only 8,000 BDT monthly to support their large family living in a small tin-roofed house with limited resources. Despite the parents’ deep love and hope for Jannat’s future, they cannot afford the costly anti-VEGF injections needed to save her vision. Without this treatment, Jannat could suffer permanent blindness, depriving her of the chance to experience the world and learn like her older brother Junayed.
