Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Six-year-old Moriom Akter is a cheerful and kind-hearted girl who loves playing with friends and helping her grandmother at home, but she suffers from recurrent chronic adenotonsillitis. After losing her mother, she has been raised by her maternal uncle Rafiqul Islam, a rickshaw puller earning only BDT 5,000 per month, while her grandmother, aunt, and grandfather struggle together to meet the family’s basic needs. Their small combined income barely covers food and daily expenses, leaving no money for the costly adenotonsillectomy she urgently needs. Without this surgery, Moriom’s illness will worsen, forcing her to miss school and lose the chance to chase her dream of a brighter future. Her family, though full of love, can only watch helplessly as her health and childhood slip away.

Outcome
For Morium Akter suffering from recurrent chronic adenotonsillitis, an adenotonsillectomy offers a definitive cure. The doctor's prognosis is that this surgery will provide permanent relief from the painful cycle of sore throats, high fevers, and difficulty swallowing, allowing the child to thrive. If left untreated, the child's condition will only worsen, potentially leading to long-term complications such as chronic ear infections, significant hearing loss, and a higher risk of developing sleep apnea. The child's growth and development could also be stunted, preventing them from attending school regularly and enjoying a normal, healthy childhood. Ultimately, the surgery is not just a treatment but a crucial step toward ensuring a future of health and well-being for the child.
