For Evans, it started with fever and his body temperature became so high. This made him forfeit school for 4 days. The parents are not having finances to take him to the hospital, so they only gave him paracetamol, still nothing was improving. They were informed about Helpster Charity, they never hesitated to come. They were well received and given the proper medical care. Upon presentation he was diagnosed with Malaria, Enteritis and Respiratory Tract Infection

Evans a 7 years old was brought and admitted at our facility with symptoms of malaria which is obvious. Upon clinical and laboratory investigations, he was diagnosed with malaria, enteritis and enteric fever. Treatment commenced with injection antimalarials, injections antibiotics and other supportive care. He became stable, no more feeling pains or weakness. He was discharged with some take home orals and scheduled for follow-up.

With timely diagnosis and proper treatment, malaria, enteritis, and enteric fever generally have favorable outcomes. Delayed or inadequate care can lead to severe complications such as cerebral malaria, intestinal perforation, or chronic debility. High-risk groups like children, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals face higher morbidity and mortality. Prevention through hygiene, safe water, mosquito control, and vaccination (for typhoid) greatly improves prognosis.
