Jasmine is the youngest child in her family. She lives with her parents and older sibling in a single-room mud house. Both of her parents are peasant farmers with no formal employment. A call to the mother revealed that Jasmine was doing okay, he was jovial and playful as he had once been before she fell sick.

Severe anemia, if left untreated, can lead to serious complications and even death. The prognosis depends on the cause and severity of the anemia, as well as the individual's overall health. While prompt treatment and management can improve outcomes, untreated severe anemia can cause heart problems, pregnancy complications, and multi-organ failure
