Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Michelle resides at a children's home and is currently in high school. She was taken into the orphanage at the age of 5 due to neglect. Her father’s identity is unknown, and her mother was living on the streets. Michelle has three siblings who also live in the home. She enjoys studying and dreams of becoming a nurse one day. Recently, Michelle sustained an injury to her right lower limb after being cut by a sharp object, which led to a painful wound with noticeable swelling. The pain was beginning to get unbearable. She received medical care, and the wound is being dressed regularly. Although it is still healing, gradual improvement is being observed.
Medical history
Michelle, a 16-year-old girl, sustained a lower limb wound that became swollen and painful. At the clinic, she was diagnosed with a wound infection and started on treatment, including a tetanus toxoid injection, antibiotics (metronidazole and floxapen), pain relief with siclofen, and regular cleaning and dressing of the wound. Over the following days, her symptoms improved steadily—the swelling reduced, pain subsided, and the wound began to heal well. With proper care and medication, Michelle made a full recovery and returned to her normal activities within two weeks.
Outcome
The patient's prognosis is good. The wound was dressed and the patient was given antibiotics to prevent further spread of the bacterial infection into the blood stream. The photo shown was in the internal files was posted weeks after treatment . The diagnosis given was miswrote since the patient had not presented with systemic features yet hence the explanation given on the platform is on cellulitis. With prompt medical treatment using antibiotics, cellulitis typically resolves within 7–10 days. Most people recover completely without complications. However, if left untreated, it can spread to deeper tissues, the bloodstream (causing sepsis), or lead to recurrent infections. Early diagnosis and adherence to treatment are key to a good outcome.
