Clinton O., 13

Clinton is a thirteen-year-old boy, the youngest of five siblings. He is a polite and humble child who enjoys playing football and is determined to become a teacher in the future. Clinton has experienced poor health since childhood and was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia at the age of five. He was referred to the hospital by a community health provider who learned about HELPSTER CHARITY through informational posters. Clinton had been experiencing severe abdominal pain, joint and chest pains, headaches, and dizziness. Laboratory tests were conducted to aid in diagnosis, and appropriate medication was administered. Clinton was discharged on oral medication and has shown significant improvement. He is now able to return to school and assist with household chores.
