Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Maanzam a 4 year old boy who dream to become a lecturer to advocate especially on his village tabawa he is the second born of the family he leave with his parents at tabawa village. He was experiencing headache and having rashes , upon presentation in our hospital he was diagnosed of Severe Malaria The transition from a failed antibiotic regimen to a correct and aggressive antimalarial treatment is a critical turning point. The patient's prognosis depends heavily on how quickly this change is made and the severity of the organ damage that has already occurred.
Medical history
Ma’anzam’s recovery continued steadily until, finally, he returned to playing with his friends, his laughter once again echoing through the village. His parents, forever grateful to the Helpster charity and the medical staff who saved their son’s life, became vocal advocates for malaria prevention in their community. His survival was made possible by the rapid administration of intravenous (IV) Artesunate at a dosage of 2.4 mg/kg. As the gold-standard first-line treatment for severe malaria, Artesunate is prized for its ability to clear parasites from the bloodstream significantly faster than older alternatives, providing the critical window needed for a full recovery.
Outcome
severe malaria is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate and comprehensive medical care. While the prognosis is poor without treatment, prompt and aggressive management with IV artesunate and supportive care can significantly improve the chances of survival. However, long-term complications, especially neurological and organ damage, remain a serious concern for survivors.
