Fatima she is a 2 year old boy as the last born of the family she leaves with her parents at tajuwa village. She started havig fever headache vommiting and cough that lasted about 5 days before she was brought to our hospital. Upon presentation it was diagnosed that she had severe malaria A two-year-old girl with severe malaria is in a life-threatening situation and requires immediate medical attention. Children between six months and five years of age are particularly vulnerable to severe malaria because they have lost their mother's immunity but have not yet developed their own specific immunity to the disease. Severe malaria in children can progress to a fatal outcome very quickly, sometimes within 24 hours if left untreated.

Fatima is a 2-year-old child who was presented to our facility and was diagnosed with Severe Malaria. On admission, antimalarials and other medications were given. To combat the infection, Fatima was treated with Intravenous (IV) Artesunate, the global gold-standard for severe malaria.
