Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
One-month-old Rihan, an adorable baby boy, entered the world alongside a twin, but tragedy struck early, claiming his sibling just six days later. Now, this precious survivor faces another battle: a serious eye condition threatening to steal his sight forever. His devoted father, Md. Delowar Hossain, already exhausted from selling their only cow and mortgaging his farming tractor to cover the twins' initial medical costs, earns a meager 8,000 taka a month, rendering the vital 18,000 BDT eye treatment an impossible dream. Without urgent Anti-VEGF injections, baby Rihan, whose parents dream of him seeing the vibrant world, will face a life of permanent darkness, a cruel fate for a family already marked by loss and struggling for daily survival. Let us help prevent this unbearable second tragedy for Rihan and his loving family.
Medical history
Rihan Hossain, a 1-month-old infant, needed immediate treatment for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in both eyes to protect his developing vision. He received Anti-VEGF injections from Dr. Md Saiful Islam, ROP Specialist of the Hospital. The treatment has shown positive results, with abnormal blood vessel growth now under control and the retinal condition improving steadily. With proper follow-up, there is strong hope that Rihan will be able to see clearly as he grows. Sincere thanks to Helpster Charity and the Helpster Heroes for making this life-changing treatment possible.
Outcome
According to Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain Sheikh, Chief Consultant, and Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, ROP Specialist at Mazharul Haque BNSB Eye Hospital, Chandpur, Rihan needs immediate Anti-VEGF injections to stop the disease from progressing and to restore normal retinal development. With timely treatment, his vision can be saved, giving him the chance to live a normal life, pursue education, and enjoy childhood like other children. However, if treatment is delayed, Rihan risks permanent blindness, which will deeply affect his future and put additional burdens on his already struggling family. With your kind support, Rihan’s sight can be protected, and his parents’ dream of a better life for him can come true.
