For 14-year-old Naim, a bright and humble madrasha student, the world is becoming a blurry canvas, threatening to extinguish his dream of becoming a scholar. His father, a day laborer earning a mere 8,000 taka per month, has no way to afford the 45,000 BDT treatment needed to save his son's vision. Without urgent medical intervention for his Retinal Vein Occlusion in both eyes, Naim will lose his sight permanently, an unbearable outcome for a family already struggling for survival and for a young boy whose future hinges on his ability to see and study. His parents and younger siblings, Najmul and Nadia, are left heartbroken, appealing to the kindness of others to prevent this cruel fate from stealing Naim's education and his entire future.

Naim Mizi, a 14-year-old boy, was experiencing serious vision problems due to retinal complications that required immediate medical intervention. After diagnosis, he received Anti-VEGF injections and PRP laser treatment in both eyes under the expert care of Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Retina Specialist of the Hospital. These treatments were essential to stop abnormal blood vessel growth and prevent further vision loss. The procedures were carried out successfully and without complications, and Naim responded very well to the treatment. His vision has significantly improved, and he now feels comfortable and can see clearly again. The improvement in his eyesight has helped him regain confidence and continue his studies and daily activities with ease. His family is extremely happy and grateful for the positive outcome. Saiful Islam, ROP Specialist at Mazharul Haque BNSB Eye Hospital, Chandpur, Naim requires urgent Anti-VEGF injection in both eyes and laser therapy in both eyes to control the disease and preserve his eyesight. The doctors are hopeful that with timely treatment, Naim’s vision can be significantly improved, enabling him to return to his studies and lead a productive life. However, if left untreated, his condition will progress, leading to irreversible blindness in both eyes. Early intervention is the key to saving his vision, and with the support of donors, Naim has the chance to see clearly again and work towards a brighter future.
