Fatima Muhammed is a cheerful 5-year-old girl who enjoys drawing, listening to stories, and helping her mother. Inspired by her hospital experience, she dreams of becoming a nurse or doctor to help others get well. Fatima was diagnosed with pneumonia, causing fever, cough, breathing difficulty, and weakness. She showed signs of respiratory distress and needed hospital treatment with antibiotics and supportive care.

Fatima Muhammed, a 5-year-old girl diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia, was admitted to General Hospital Nguru on 18th July 2025. She received inpatient care including intravenous antibiotics (Ceftriaxone and Azithromycin), fever management with Paracetamol, nebulization with Salbutamol, oral rehydration, and nutritional support. By the fourth day, she showed significant improvement and her fever resolved, breathing normalized, and appetite returned. After completing her IV antibiotics, she was discharged on 23rd July 2025 in stable condition with oral antibiotics and follow-up advice. Thank you helpster charity for medical support.

The doctor’s prognosis is positive with treatment Fatima is expected to make a full recovery. However, if left untreated, her pneumonia could worsen, leading to severe complications like respiratory failure or even death.
