Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
3years and 6months old Alhamdu lives with his parents and elder sister. His mother and father are farmers. Alhamdu attends Bola Mother Primary and Secondary school. He is in Pre-Nursery. He loves playing football, while not clear on what he hopes to be in future the child is serious with his school work and likes to go to school too. When he was still very little, it was observed that he was having difficulties passing urine and when he does it was with great pain and only very little comes out. Time abd time again he would be taken to hospital in his village but very little was done. It was his grandmother who told them to come to Kaduna that there is a hospital that can help them through an NGo called Helpster and they came here. Due to his health condition, urgent intervention is needed by draining the kidney by passing uretha catether, surgical procedure (valvotomy) id a definitive intervention. Prognosis is good if done on time as the child would be able to pass urine adequately
Medical history
When Alhamdu was brought the hospital, he was in serious pains. He had difficulties in passing urine, pains while passing urine and retention of urine in the blander even after passing urine. The diagnosis was hydronephrosis. A procedure called valvotomy was done under general anaesthesia and some take home drugs were given. He has regular follow-up visits every 2weeks until he is fully fit. His parents were over-joyed by the help they received and both his father and mother had something to say in appreciation to Helpster.
Outcome
Due to his health condition, urgent intervention is needed by draining the kidney by passing uretha catether, surgical procedure (valvotomy) id a definitive intervention. Prognosis is good if done on time as the child would be able to pass urine adequately
