Hillary Kimosop is a 9-year-old boy from a remote village area where residents struggle to access even the most basic needs. He is currently in grade 4 at a local Primary School and enjoys spending his free time reading. Hillary comes from a humble background, with both parents working as casual laborers. Due to limited income, the family often struggles to make ends meet. They came to know about Helpster Charity through a site visit conducted by Tionycare Hospital. Hillary has been experiencing chronic abdominal pain along with eye itchiness, tearing, and swelling. He was diagnosed with gastritis and conjunctivitis.

Hillary Kimosop, a 9-year-old boy, was brought to the hospital by his guardian after experiencing persistent eye itchiness, swelling, tearing, and abdominal pain that had worsened over several days. After a careful medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with gastritis, which explained his stomach discomfort, and conjunctivitis, the likely cause of his irritated and watery eyes. The healthcare team immediately began treatment to relieve his symptoms and prevent complications. He was started on esomeprazole, a medication to reduce stomach acid and allow his inflamed stomach lining to heal. For his eyes, dexamethasone eye drops were prescribed to reduce inflammation and discomfort, and metronidazole was given to help treat any underlying infection contributing to his gastritis. Within a few days, Hillary's abdominal pain eased, and his eyes became less swollen and itchy. As his strength returned and his symptoms faded, his appetite improved, and he began to smile and play again. By the time of his follow-up visit, Hillary had made a full recovery and was back to his normal, energetic self.

The patient was diagnosed with gastritis and conjuctivitis. He was given medication and his prognosis is good.His condition has improved since medication.
