Philip O., 3

Philip is a three-year-old boy from Nango Village. He is a cheerful child who smiles often and enjoys running around. He developed vomiting, diarrhea, and intermittent fevers that lasted for about three days. His mother first took him to a nearby clinic, where he was given medication, but his condition did not improve and instead worsened. A community health provider, after coming across a Helpster Charity poster at the local market, referred Philip to the hospital for further care.

Philip has made a full recovery and has been discharged from the hospital. He is now active again and happily playing with the other children, just as he used to. His mother is deeply grateful for the support provided by Helpster Charity, especially at a time when she felt helpless and had no financial means to seek treatment. She expressed heartfelt appreciation for the assistance that restored her son’s health and brought joy back into their home.

Philip Odhiambo was diagnosed with severe malaria and promptly treated and responded well to the treatment and therefore his prognosis was good since he showed marked improvement on his 2nd day in the ward.
