A 2 year old child with history of poor family background. He is cheerful and likes riding a bicycle. He have a dream to become a pilot in the future. He was brought to our health facility with the Complains of scrotal swelling for the past 8 months. It started like the size of the thumb but now the size is getting bigger more than the size of the big and there is obstruction and pain. Upon presentation at our hospital, and after proper evaluation, he was diagnosed with Right inguinal scrotal Hernia

Mohd, a 2-year-old male, presented with a 2-year history of reducible right inguinoscrotal swelling, occasionally accompanied by pain and mild obstruction. After thorough evaluation, he was diagnosed with right inguinoscrotal hernia. He underwent successful hernial repair surgery without immediate complications. Following a 3-day hospital stay for close monitoring and post-operative care, mohd recovered well and was discharged home with a scheduled follow-up appointment for 1 week. He has since fully recovered and resumed regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

If left untreated, inguinal hernias can lead to complications such as bowel obstruction, strangulation (where blood supply to the herniated tissue is cut off), and significant pain or discomfort. Surgery is the most common treatment for inguinal hernias to repair the weakened area and prevent these potential complications.
