Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Resma Akter, a 30-year-old mother and devoted housewife, lives in a tin-shed home with nine family members, including her unemployed husband who is struggling to find work. With only a small and uncertain household income, the family cannot afford the urgent medical treatment she now requires. At 33+ weeks of pregnancy, Reshma is suffering from premature rupture of membranes and absence of fetal movements, a condition that puts both her life and her baby’s at grave risk. Known for her caring nature and love of cooking, she dreams only of giving birth to a healthy child for her family. Without timely treatment, the family fears losing both mother and baby, leaving her 7-year-old son and the entire household in deep grief and despair.
Medical history
Reshma Akter, a gynecology patient, was admitted on 10.11.2025 at 36 weeks of pregnancy with lower abdominal pain, complicated by a breech presentation. On 10.11.2025, she successfully underwent a cesarean operation and gave birth to a healthy baby. Both mother and baby remained stable and were discharged on 13.11.2025 with proper advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, Abdullah Hospital, and Dr. Nusaiba Tasnim for their kind support and excellent care throughout the process
Outcome
Reshma Akter, 30 years old and 33+ weeks pregnant, presents with per vaginal watery discharge and reduced fetal movements — both of which are concerning signs. These symptoms suggest possible premature rupture of membranes (PROM) and fetal distress, which require urgent evaluation. Her history of a cesarean section increases the risk of uterine rupture, especially in the third trimester. Immediate hospitalization, ultrasound, and fetal monitoring (CTG) are needed to assess amniotic fluid, fetal well-being, and uterine integrity. If fetal distress or infection is confirmed, early delivery may be necessary, and prognosis depends on timely intervention.
