Chompa R., 28

Chompa Rani, a gentle and devoted 28-year-old mother from a humble village, is now 35+ weeks pregnant with her second child. Her husband, a day laborer, earns just enough to feed their small family of three, leaving them unable to afford the urgent C-section surgery she needs. Despite her struggles, Chompa remains hopeful and prays daily for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. Without the operation, both her and her baby’s lives are at serious risk due to the baby’s oblique position and fetal distress. Her seven-year-old child, who lovingly waits to meet the new sibling, may lose the chance to grow up with a mother if timely help doesn’t arrive.

The patient,Chompa Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 27th November 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 01th December 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

According to the doctor's prognosis, the planned C-section is the only safe path forward for Chompa and her baby. The procedure will bypass the immense risks of a vaginal Oblique birth, ensuring the baby is delivered safely and preventing life-threatening complications like uterine rupture or severe bleeding for Chompa. Without this surgical intervention, the doctor predicts a high likelihood of a tragic outcome, with both Chompa and her child facing the prospect of severe injury or even death. The C-section, while a major surgery, is a life-saving measure that offers the best chance for a healthy mother and a healthy baby, allowing them to finally begin their lives together as a family
