Abdullahi M., 9

Abdullahi is the 5th child of his parents among 7 children. He is 9 years old, he attends a government primary school in their small community. He treks to school with his siblings and other children. The father is a trader and the mother is a house wife. Abdullahi started having fever for some some days, he became febrile with high body temperature, he feels very weak with abdominal pains despite some home medications, no improvement of any sort and no money for hospital bills, one fellow referred them to get help from Helpster Charity, they visited WholeCare hospital. Upon presentation, and after further evaluation, Abdullahi was diagnosed with malaria and enteric fever.

Abdullahi a boy of 9yo was presented with high grade fever at our hospital and was admitted for 5 days, after some tests were carried out, he was diagnosed with malaria and enteric fever. He was given some antimalarials and antibiotics as well as other supportive medications. When he became stable and recovered, he was discharged with some oral medications and a day for follow-up was given accordingly.

Mustapha's prognosis is good provided he receives early diagnosis and appropriate therapy. Most patients recover fully with the right treatment and supportive measures. However, if treatment is delayed or inadequate, complications such as severe illness, organ involvement, or prolonged weakness may occur. With adherence to prescribed care, a full recovery is anticipated. Early management and treatment of Abdullah is of good importance.
