Emmanuel O., 4

Emmanuel is the fifth child in a family of five. His mother sells mandazi along a roadside in the nearby village. Emmanuel is polite, shy, and cheerful, enjoying playing and running around. He had been unwell for nearly a week. His mother initially bought medication from a local chemist, but after three days there was no improvement. She then took him to a nearby clinic, where he received treatment and was sent home. That night, Emmanuel developed severe rigors and chills and high fever, prompting his mother to rush him to the hospital after a neighbor informed her about Helpster Charity. Upon arrival, Emmanuel was promptly started on treatment.

Emmanuel was broyght to the hospital with complains of,hotness of the body,cough and shivers.He was attended to promptly and diagnosis of severe malaria and upper respiratory tract infection made.He received IV antimalarials and per oral antibiotics.He showed good prognosis.After Emmanuel receiving treatment at the hospital he is discharged and has recovered.His playful now and playing a lot.He has regained his normal life and can play normaly as he used to.Emmanuel has joined school at playgroup level.

Emmanuel’s prognosis is good. Following prompt medical attention and treatment, his condition has started improving, and with continued care, he is expected to make a full recovery.
