Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Nipa Akter endured a high-risk pregnancy complicated by placenta previa, a dangerous condition that put both her and her unborn baby’s lives at risk. Doctors had no choice but to perform an emergency C-section to save them, and soon after birth, the fragile newborn developed breathing difficulties requiring immediate NICU care. Nipa and her husband live in a rented house with six family members, surviving on only 9,200 BDT a month, which makes the cost of such critical treatment far beyond their reach. Without proper NICU support, the baby faces severe health complications and the risk of not surviving. With timely treatment, however, this little fighter has a real chance to grow stronger and bring hope and happiness to the entire family.
Medical history
Thanks to Helpster Charity’s support, Nipa’s surgery was performed on time, and her baby was admitted to NICU. The first days were full of anxiety, but slowly the little one began breathing better, responding to care, and gaining strength. After a few days, doctors declared the child stable enough to leave NICU. Finally, the family returned home with both mother and baby safe. What once seemed impossible became a story of hope, healing, and new beginnings. The patient admitted in the hospital on 20th September due to emergency placenta previa and the surgery was done done on the same day. The patient discharged on 22th September 2025. The patient and her husband give thanks to Helpster Charity and Al Manar hospital.
Outcome
The attending doctors explained that immediate surgery was necessary to save both mother and child. Following the C-section, the baby required NICU support due to breathing distress. The doctors reassured the family that with proper treatment and care, the baby had an excellent chance of survival and recovery. After several days in NICU, the little one showed steady improvement. Today, both mother and child are safe, healthy, and back home, with doctors hopeful about a bright future.
