Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Musa is a 10 years old child living with his parents. He is the 4th child in an extended family, the father has 2 wives, his business is struggling making it very difficult to provide food for his family. Musa, started having fever, headache and abdominal pains, he looked febrile for some days, nothing was given to from home to reduce the pain. The mother was informed about Helpster Charity through a beneficiary, they visited WholeCare Hospital. Upon presentation at our hospital and after further evaluation he was diagnosed of enteric fever.
Medical history
Musa a 10 years old child presented with high grade fever, headache and abdominal pain coupled with body weakness was admitted for 5 days at Wholecare hospital. He was diagnosed with Enteric fever where treatment commenced with some antibiotics and other supportive care. When he became stable, he was discharged on some take home orals and was given a period of time for follow up. The family remained grateful to Helpster Charity for the medical support.
Outcome
Musa Rabiu, was diagnosed with Enteric fever, has been admitted and commenced on appropriate therapy. Prognosis is favorable with expected recovery within 1–3 weeks, provided treatment is adhered to. Close monitoring is required to detect complications or relapse.
