Sadiqa N., 7

Sadiqa is 7 years old living with her parents in a rented apartment. She is the third child among 5 children. The father is a farmer and the mother is a house wife. They always struggle to get food and other necessities of life. Sadiqa took ill for about a week, always complaining about abdominal pain, fever headache and temperature going very high in the late hours of the day. No home remedies and no money to take her to the hospital. One day a news got to them about Helpster Charity program, they contacted WholeCare hospital to be properly evaluated. On presentation at our hospital and after further evaluation ,she was diagnosed with enteric fever.

Sadiqa a 7 years old girl, presetented with fever, abdominal pain, headache and body temperature rising at late hours of the day was admitted and diagnosed with enteric fever. Treatment commenced with injection antibiotics and other supportive care. She became stable and was discharged with some take home orals, thereafter was scheduled for follow-up. The family are grateful to Helpster Charity program for their medical support.

The prognosis of enteric fever is usually good with early and proper treatment, leading to full recovery. Without prompt care, complications such as intestinal perforation or bleeding may occur, which can worsen outcomes and increase risk of death. Sadiqa was placed on some atibiobics medicatons and other supportive care until she recovers
