Ummisalma a 16 years old girl is the first child of her parents among 5 children, currently attending a charity secondary school, the father is a small scale farmer and the mother is a house wife. She has the wish to further her education but her concern is who to sponsor her. Ummisaima became weak, having fever and febrile with very higher body temperature, though given some home remedies but no positive results. No money to take her to the hospital. There was a community outreach that made them know about Helpster Charity, they contacted WholeCare hospital and she was rushed to the hospital in the night. On presentation at our hospital and after further evaluation, she was diagnosed with severe malaria.

Ummisalma a 16 years old child was rushed to the the hospital in the night with complaint of body weakness, ill looking and febrile with high body temperature. She was admitted and diagnosed with severe malaria. Treatment commenced with injection antimalarials, IV fluids, injection antibiotics and other supportive care. Patient became stable after some days, she was discharged with some take home orals and was scheduled for a follow up. The family are happy, they appreciate Helpster Charity for their medical support.

Aliyu's prognosis is favorable as she has been admitted and is already receiving appropriate treatment. The risk of severe complications such as cerebral malaria is now reduced. and full recovery is expected as long as the medical instructions are adhered to.
