The child lives with his parents and five siblings and is the third born in the family. He attends school on weekdays and helps his mother take care of his younger siblings during weekends. His father is the sole breadwinner, working on other people’s farms to provide for the family. After developing vomiting, fever, chest pain, and cough for five days, his mother initially tried home remedies without success. Daniel makokha presented with a five day history of vomiting, hotness of the body , chest pain and cough.He was brought to the hospital examined tested and found to have severe pneumonia and anaemia.Daniel makokha was put on IV Emitino,IV ceftriaxon,,IV hydrocortisone, and iV paracetamol. He was then observed for 3 days , showed improvement and was sent home on oral cefuroxime paracetamol and ranferon . Daniel makokha is now feeling better and has resumed his normal activities, he goes to school daily and after school he helps his mother to look after his younger siblings. His mother is so happy and says thank you helpster for assisting my son come out of danger .
