Thirteen-year-old Akhi Khatun is a bright and kind-hearted girl who dreams of becoming a teacher one day. She lives with her parents and younger brother in a tiny tin house in the village, where the family survives on her father’s small income of 10,000 BDT per month. Recently, Akhi’s life changed when pain and swelling in her left knee made it hard for her to walk or go to school, and doctors diagnosed her with a haemangioma. Her parents are heartbroken, as they cannot afford the costly treatment needed to relieve her pain and prevent the condition from worsening. Without medical care, Akhi risks permanent disability and chronic pain, but despite it all, she remains hopeful, praying for the day she can walk freely and return to her studies.

Akhi Khatun patient was admitted into the hospital on 24/09/2025 with the complaints of hemangioma a situated over left thigh. After admission the patient diagnosed as Hemangioma left thigh. According to the doctor, Akhi requires STS foam sclerotherapy with excision to treat the haemangioma in her left thigh. With timely treatment, her pain will gradually subside, allowing her to stand, walk, and continue her studies without constant discomfort. The procedure will also prevent the vascular malformation from growing or causing further complications. However, if left untreated, her condition may worsen over time, leading to increased pain, limited mobility, and the risk of long-term disability. Early intervention is therefore critical to securing her health, education, and future well-being
