Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Abdulrahmon is a 9year old boy who loves playing football and wants to do sports when he grows up. He developed a swelling in the right inguinal region about 1 year ago, it has increased in size and causes some discomfort.

Medical history

Abdulrahmon was diagnosed with a hydrocele, and sent for a surgery to manage the condition. The surgery was carried out as scheduled. The patient responded well to the surgery and the post-operative management. Abdul was discharged at the stable state of health.

Outcome

The persistent presence of a hydrocele can cause ongoing discomfort, heaviness, or a feeling of fullness in the scrotum. Although hydroceles are not typically associated with infections, untreated ones may become prone to infections, which can result in pain and complications. Larger hydroceles can interfere with activities like walking or participating in sports due to the added weight and size of the swollen scrotum. Surgical removal of the hydrocele sac is the most effective and permanent treatment for hydrocele. It is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon makes a small incision in the scrotum, drains the fluid, and removes the sac.
