Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Faith is the second-born in a family of nine and a Grade 4 pupil at a nearby primary school. She is a dedicated learner who always wakes up early to prepare for class. Her father, who works as a tailor and earns about Ksh 2,000 monthly, is the family’s sole breadwinner and uses his income to support the household. Faith had been healthy until a few days ago when she developed a severe headache, neck stiffness, high fever, and vomiting. The headache worsened over time and was accompanied by neck pain and vomiting. Concerned, her father took her to the hospital, uncertain about how to afford treatment. Upon inquiry, the hospital clerk referred them to a Helpster volunteer, who assessed and enrolled Faith under the Helpster Charity Organization, enabling her to receive free medical care.
