Abdullah, a bright and cheerful 13-year-old boy studying in the Hifz section of a madrasa, loves playing with friends and enjoying meals cooked by his mother. He lives with his parents and younger brother in a crowded rental home, surviving on his father’s modest monthly income of 8,000 BDT, which barely covers daily necessities. Recently, Abdullah fell seriously ill with Dengue Fever, experiencing fever, body aches, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, and headaches, putting his health at immediate risk. His family could not afford treatment at a tertiary hospital, and without urgent care, he could develop severe complications such as dehydration, internal bleeding, organ failure, or even life-threatening shock. Desperate to save their son, Abdullah’s parents sought care at Narayanganj Poly Clinic and are appealing to Helpster Charity for the necessary support to ensure his recovery.

Abdullah, a 13 year was suffering from dengue fever. He required emergency hospitalization due to fever,bodyache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, headache. Abdullah was treated conservatively, and thankfully, he is now doing well and back home with a bright smile. He was admitted on 29/09/2025 and was discharged on 02/10/2025. With prompt and appropriate medical treatment, including supportive care, hydration, and close monitoring, Abdullah’s Dengue Fever can be effectively managed, allowing him to recover fully and return to his normal, active life. Timely intervention will prevent severe complications such as internal bleeding, organ damage, shock, dehydration, or neurological issues like seizures and encephalopathy. Doctors expect that with proper care, Abdullah will make a complete recovery without long-term health consequences. However, if left untreated, his condition could rapidly worsen, becoming life-threatening and potentially resulting in permanent damage or death. Early treatment is therefore critical to safeguard his health and future.
