Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Zuwaira is happily married to Musa who was a farmer they have three children together they both leaves inside Zango village. Heard about Helpster from the volunteer and community members. Zuwaira Mohammed was rushed to Ayaji hospital for an emergency cesarean section on account of complicated pregnancy in labor. She was examined and found to have a high risk pregnancy due to a twin gestation in transverse lie (mal- positioning), and a previous uterine scar which can all lead to life threatening conditions for the mother and twins. The combination of a previous Cesarean scar with the stresses of a twin pregnancy and labor dramatically increases the risk of a life-threatening complication called uterine rupture (the previous scar tearing open). The Emergency CS is a necessary intervention to safely deliver the babies and prevent the complication of uterine rupture, ensuring the mother and babies remain in good condition.

Medical history

Zuwaira after been rush to the hospital she has a newborn delivered through a successful Caesarean section (CS) was given immediate and comprehensive care to ensure a smooth adaptation to extrauterine life. Following delivery, the baby was promptly assessed for overall wellbeing and stability. Initial Care After Delivery Immediately after birth, the newborn was thoroughly dried, kept warm to prevent hypothermia, and the airway was cleared when necessary. Essential vital signs—including heart rate, respiratory effort, and body temperature—were assessed. The baby demonstrated good cry and muscle tone, indicating satisfactory adaptation to extrauterine life. Routine newborn care was provided, including proper umbilical cord care, administration of vitamin K injection to prevent bleeding complications, and early initiation of breastfeeding to promote bonding and nutrition. Monitoring and Support The newborn was closely monitored during the first hours and days of life. Observations focused on respiratory pattern, feeding effectiveness, body temperature regulation, and any signs of distress. Special attention was given to breathing, as infants delivered by CS may occasionally experience mild transient respiratory difficulty due to retained lung fluid. Breastfeeding support was provided, and the mother was encouraged to practice exclusive breastfeeding. Assistance was offered to ensure proper positioning and effective latch to promote adequate feeding. Ongoing Care and Recovery As the newborn stabilized, routine neonatal care continued with emphasis on maintaining warmth, hygiene, and optimal nutrition. The baby was regularly assessed for signs of infection, jaundice, and feeding difficulties. Growth and developmental progress were also closely monitored. Overall, the newborn adapted well following Caesarean delivery, with no complications observed. The baby demonstrated good feeding ability, appropriate weight gain, and normal activity levels consistent with healthy neonatal development.

Outcome

Zuwaira was brought to Ayaji hospital with the following complaint, started having lower abdominal pain associated with back pain and vaginal discharge about 1 day prior to presentation. She was diagnosed twin gestation and a transverse lie which is a serious pregnancy disorder that requires immediate medical attention.
