Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Abdullahi is a 20-year-old boy who likes to become a scholar. He is the first born in his family, they are 5 in number, there Father is a farmer, mother does not work. He was well but 15 years after birth he developed a scrotal swelling,a swelling which was initially small and now is getting bigger. They decided to come to our facility for further evaluation. Upon presentation at our hospital, and after further evaluation, he was diagnosed with Hydrocele.

Medical history

ABDULLAHI MOHAMMED, a 20-year-old young adult, presented with a right scrotal swelling since 5 years but became more pronounced within 3 weeks associated with feeling of heaviness, pain and discomfort. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Hydrocele. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days, had successful surgery, treated with antibiotics, rehydrated and pain medication to alleviate pain. ABDULLAHI recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

Outcome

He will require surgery due to the swelling but it has good prognosis. Treatment of the swelling will remove pain and the discomfort associated with it.If left untreated, can cause inguinal hernia(a condition in which some part of the intestine pushes through an opening in the groin. It can also result to infection of the testis, twisting of the testis(torsion).
