Md. Jubayer Ahmed, an 18-year-old from Gaitoli village, lives with his parents and six siblings, whose limited income makes it impossible to afford surgery. He sustained a severe knee injury while playing football, leaving him unable to walk or attend madrasa. Without timely ACL reconstruction surgery, he risks permanent knee damage, chronic pain, and lifelong mobility limitations. The injury directly impacts his daily life, education, and future aspirations. Immediate medical intervention is essential to restore his mobility and ensure a normal, active life.

Md. Jubayer Ahmed, an 18-year-old madrasa student from Gaitoli, Muradnagar, Cumilla, was admitted to Olympus Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd., Dhaka, on 08 October 2025 after suffering a serious right leg injury while playing football. He was diagnosed with a complete ACL tear and meniscus injury, requiring ACL reconstruction surgery, which was successfully performed the same day by Dr. Md. Shaeb Sarwar Murad. Following surgery, Jubayer received continuous wound care, medication, and physiotherapy to restore mobility. By 12 October 2025, he showed excellent improvement and was discharged in stable condition. His recovery has restored both his ability to walk and his hope to continue his madrasa education with renewed determination.

Doctors expect that with ACL reconstruction surgery using a hamstring autograft, Jubayer can regain full strength and mobility in his right leg. Proper post-surgery physiotherapy will help restore knee stability, allowing him to walk, run, and engage in daily activities without pain or limitation. Timely intervention will prevent permanent joint damage and reduce the risk of chronic instability or long-term mobility issues. If left untreated, Jubayer may experience lifelong difficulty walking, kneeling, or participating in sports, along with persistent pain. With early surgical care, however, he has an excellent chance of returning to a normal, active life.
