Mst. Keya Moni, a 30-year-old housewife, lives with her husband, a day laborer, and their two children in a small village, struggling each day to meet even the most basic needs. Despite their financial hardships, she remains patient, kind, and devoted to her family, dreaming of safely welcoming her third child. Now 37 weeks pregnant, Keya is facing a high-risk pregnancy with reduced fetal movement and signs of fetal distress, requiring an urgent Cesarean section (LUCS). The family’s limited income makes it impossible to afford the cost of surgery and hospital care. Without timely treatment, both Keya and her unborn baby’s lives are at serious risk, as complications like uterine rupture or stillbirth could occur, turning their hope into tragedy.

Mst Keya Moni was admitted to the hospital on October 09 , 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation and Oligohydramnois. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn were discharged on October 13, 2025 in good health. Her mother in law came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Md Abdullah Miah for their treatment and support. A Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) is the safest and most appropriate treatment option for Mst. Keya Moni, considering her breech presentation, oligohydramnios, fetal distress, and previous Cesarean section. This procedure will greatly reduce the risks of uterine rupture, cord compression, and oxygen deprivation to the baby, ensuring the best possible outcome for both mother and child. With timely surgical intervention, the baby’s chances of survival and healthy development are excellent, and the mother is expected to recover well. However, if left untreated or if normal labor is attempted, both maternal and fetal lives could be endangered due to complications like uterine rupture, severe bleeding, or stillbirth. Early LUCS is therefore critical for a safe delivery and positive prognosis.
