Joana is a 6 years old girl child living with her parents, attends a private school together with her younger brother. The father is a civil servant and the mother is a house wife. They are living in an apartment owned by them where there are 3 rooms and a toilet. Patient was noticed to be having fever and difficulty breathing which were severe enough to stop her daily activities as well as feeding. She has lost some weight in the course of the illness. Examination revealed an ill looking child with difficulty breathing, SPO2 of 90% crepitations on the upper and midlung zones bilaterally. Parents are financially unable to take her to the hospital for help. They got information about the mission of Helpster charity which is why they brought her to Wholecare hospital for proper evaluation. Upon presentation at our hospital, and after further evaluation, diagnosed with bronchopneumonia.

Joanna a 6 years old girl child have been having fever and difficulty breathing, she was brought to WholeCare hospital and was immediately admitted because patient's condition was severe. She was diagnosed with bronchopneomonia and was treated with antibiotics and other supportive medications. She was stable, breathing normalized and fever stopped. She was discharged with some take home orals and was scheduled for follow-up. Family are happy and extends gratitude to Helpster Charity team for the medical support.

Jonathan’s prognosis is favorable, as bronchopneumonia generally responds well to prompt diagnosis and appropriate antibiotic therapy. With continued treatment and supportive care, he is expected to make a full recovery. However, close monitoring remains important, as bronchopneumonia can become severe or lead to complications such as respiratory distress or sepsis, especially in individuals with reduced immunity. Early medical attention and adherence to his treatment plan will greatly enhance his recovery and prevent relapse.
