Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Monika Akter, a gentle and hardworking housewife, lives with her truck-driver husband, young daughter, and elderly mother-in-law in a small household surviving on only 9,000 taka a month. The family is still struggling to repay the loan taken for Monika’s previous C-section, leaving them unable to afford the urgent treatment she now needs for her 37-week breech pregnancy. Despite living in hardship, Monika remains hopeful, caring for her family with love and finding joy in cooking, but her worsening abdominal pain is putting both her life and her unborn baby at serious risk. Without proper medical care, complications during delivery could become life-threatening for her and devastating for her husband Mojidul, their daughter Muntaha, and the dependent mother-in-law. This family desperately needs support to ensure Monika receives safe, timely treatment before the situation becomes critical.
Medical history
Monika Akter was admitted to the hospital on October 15, 2025, with a diagnosis of severe oligohydramnios, breech presentation, and a history of a previous cesarean section. Given the high-risk nature of her condition, an urgent cesarean section was performed on the same day. The surgery was successful, and Monika gave birth to a healthy baby boy. After receiving appropriate post-operative care, both mother and newborn recovered well and were discharged in good health on October 19, 2025. Her mother-in-law came to the hospital to receive them and expressed the family’s heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Bablu Abdullah for their dedicated treatment and support. She was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster, which made timely medical care possible during this critical time.
Outcome
The doctor anticipates that performing a Lower Uterine Segment Cesarean Section (LUCS) will significantly reduce the risks associated with Monika’s breech presentation and previous cesarean history, ensuring a safer delivery for both mother and baby. With timely surgery, the chances of complications such as birth injury, fetal distress, or uterine rupture are greatly minimized, giving the newborn the best possible start to life. For Monika, the procedure will help prevent life-threatening maternal complications and support a stable recovery. However, if left untreated and labor progresses naturally, both Monika and the baby face severe risks, including obstructed labor, fetal compromise, or even maternal and neonatal mortality. Early intervention through LUCS offers the safest and most effective outcome for this high-risk pregnancy.
