Masuma Akter, a humble and hardworking 21-year-old mother, tries her best to care for her family while carrying her second child in a pregnancy that has become increasingly risky. Her husband, a day laborer with irregular income, now struggles to support not only her but also his elderly parents, who can no longer work due to age and illness. With a breech-positioned baby at 35+ weeks—and a history of a complicated previous C-section—Masuma urgently needs proper medical treatment, something far beyond what the family can afford. Without this care, both she and her baby could face life-threatening complications, including obstructed labor, uterine rupture, or fetal distress. Despite her calm and hopeful nature, the family’s only chance for a safe delivery is timely medical support that they cannot manage on their own.

The patient, Masuma was admitted to City Clinic on 16th November 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 2.4 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 19th November 2025 with proper postnatal advice. Given Masuma Akter’s breech presentation and previous C-section, the doctor’s prognosis strongly favors a LUCS to ensure a safe delivery for both mother and child. With timely surgery, the risks of complications such as obstructed labor, uterine rupture, or fetal oxygen deprivation are greatly reduced, allowing the baby to be born healthy and the mother to recover safely.
