Mazada Akter is a 20-year-old woman, currently 34+ weeks pregnant with her second child. She has a history of complicated pregnancy and underwent a C-section during her first delivery. In this pregnancy, the baby is in a breech position, and her doctor has advised an emergency C-section to prevent serious risks to both mother and child. Mazada lives with her husband, Shaher Ali, a day laborer, their 2-year-old child, and her elderly in-laws, who are unable to work. Due to their financial struggles, the family cannot afford the cost of surgery. They learned about Helpster Charity through a local representative, Dorimon Ali, and reached out seeking urgent financial assistance for Mazada’s treatment.

The patient, Mazada was admitted to City Clinic on 6th November 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 2.4 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 10th November 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest treatment option for Mazada Khatun’s delivery. With this procedure, both mother and baby are expected to have a stable and healthy outcome, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation and her previous cesarean history. The surgery will help prevent life-threatening complications such as uterine rupture, fetal distress, or prolonged labor. If the condition is left untreated and a vaginal delivery is attempted, both Mazada and her baby could face severe complications, including the risk of losing the baby or endangering the mother’s life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore critical for a safe and successful delivery.
