Rabeya Begum, a humble and devoted mother, has always worked tirelessly to care for her family, even as her husband struggles to earn a small daily wage as a laborer. Living hand-to-mouth, they cannot afford the urgent C-section her doctor has recommended to save both her and her unborn baby, especially after already facing a history of miscarriage and two complicated C-sections. Now, with the baby in a severely reduced position and oligohydramnios, her three children and husband watch her with growing fear, knowing the risks are far greater than anything the family has faced before. Without this life-saving surgery, Rabeya could face dangerous labor complications, and her baby might not survive the distress. Their only hope is timely medical intervention before this high-risk pregnancy turns into a heartbreaking tragedy.

The patient,Rabeya Begum was admitted to City Clinic on 28th December 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 01th January 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor explains that an emergency LUCS is the safest and most effective option to protect both Rabeya and her baby, given the dangerously low amniotic fluid and the baby’s abnormal position. With timely surgery, the baby has a strong chance of survival and can receive immediate care to avoid breathing and developmental complications. The procedure will also protect Rabeya from life-threatening risks such as uterine rupture, severe infection, or obstructed labor. If the surgery is delayed or not done, the baby could suffer from oxygen deprivation or even stillbirth, and Rabeya’s own life could be in serious danger.
