Most Safla Khatun is a 26-year-old housewife, currently in the final stage of her first pregnancy, living with her husband Md. Kazinul Islam, a farmer with a monthly income of only 7,000 taka, and his elderly parents Md. Kolimuddin and Mst. Kajoli Begum. The family struggles to meet daily needs, making it impossible for them to arrange the cost of hospital treatment. Mrs. Most Safla Khatun was admitted to the hospital on October 20, 2025, with a diagnosis of term pregnancy (38 weeks) complicated by transverse presentation and oligohydramnios. Considering the fetal malpresentation, low amniotic fluid volume, an elective lower segment cesarean section (LSCS) was performed on the same day. The surgery was successful, and she delivered a healthy baby with no intraoperative or postoperative complications. Both the mother and newborn recovered well under hospital supervision and were discharged in good health on October 25, 2025.
