Most. Nuri Khatun is a bright and hardworking 15-year-old student who lives with her family in deep financial hardship, supported by her father Md. Nurnobi Islam, an elderly farmer with very limited income, and her elder brother Md. Masum Billah, a day laborer. The family of five survives on a total monthly income of only 6,000 taka, which is barely enough for food and education, leaving no capacity to afford medical treatment. Nuri has been suffering from severe abdominal pain, fever, vomiting, and nausea for several days, and doctors have confirmed that she needs urgent treatment for appendicitis. Without timely surgery, her condition could worsen suddenly and lead to life-threatening complications. After learning about Helpster Charity from a nurse at Mother Clinic, her father contacted Helpster volunteer Bablu Abdullah, hoping for support to save his daughter’s life and future.

Most Nuri Khatun was admitted to the hospital on October 24, 2025, with right sided abdominal pain. After diagnoses, she was found with appendicitis problem. On the same day, doctor conducted Appendectomy. After four days, she was discharged on October 28, 2025, in good health. Her father and mother came to the hospital to receive her. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Md Abdullah Miah for their treatment and support. Her father was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Doctors have advised an appendectomy as the definitive treatment to remove the infected appendix and stop the spread of infection. With timely surgery, Most. Nuri Khatun is expected to recover fully and return to her normal life, school, and daily activities without long-term health problems. Early treatment will quickly relieve her pain and prevent further complications. If the appendix is left untreated, it may rupture, causing severe infection inside the abdomen and putting her life at serious risk. Delaying surgery could lead to prolonged illness, more complex treatment, and lasting health consequences.
