Musammod Murshida is a bright, determined 20-year-old woman whose gentle nature and creative spirit shine through her handmade cloth designs, even as she lives without a permanent home. Her husband’s work as a painter brings only 6,000 taka a month, barely enough to support their family of six, which includes a young child, a teenager, and her elderly parents-in-law who depend on them completely. When Murshida’s first pregnancy suddenly became dangerous due to severe anemia, reduced fetal movement, and critically low amniotic fluid, doctors warned that an immediate caesarean section was the only way to save her baby. Without this urgent treatment, her unborn child could suffer irreversible harm or loss of life, and Murshida herself faces serious complications. Though surrounded by a loving family and strong hope for the future, their extreme financial hardship leaves them unable to afford the life-saving surgery.

Musammod Murshida, who was 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant, was admitted on 12.10.2025 with lower abdominal pain, fatigue, per vaginal watery discharge, decreased fetal movement, and anemia. She was diagnosed with oligohydramnios with reduced fetal activity, a condition that required urgent attention to ensure the safety of both her and her baby. She underwent a successful operation, after which both mother and baby remained safe. During her hospital stay, she received careful medical management and continuous nursing care, including monitoring, medication, and support for recovery. With timely intervention and attentive care, her condition steadily improved. Both she and her baby responded well to the treatment, and she was able to recover comfortably. Musammod Murshida was discharged on 15.10.2025 in stable and healthy condition, along with her baby.

The doctor has advised that a Lower Segment Cesarean Section (LSCS) be performed under spinal anesthesia (SAB), considering it the safest and most effective delivery option for Musammod Murshida. Timely lower segment caesarean section (LSCS) is essential to ensure the safety of both mother and baby. Without surgical intervention, serious complications could arise, but with LSCS, the baby can be delivered safely, and both mother and child are likely to recover well.
