Most Tazmin Nahar is a 22-year-old housewife from a low-income family, where her husband Md. Babu Hossain works as a day laborer earning approximately 8,000 taka per month while supporting their son Taskin Hossain and his elderly father Golgar Hossain. With this limited income, the family struggles to meet basic needs and has no capacity to bear the cost of surgical treatment. Currently at 37 weeks of her second pregnancy, with a history of previous caesarean delivery, she presented with lower abdominal pain, reduced fetal movement, and was diagnosed with a breech presentation at Jamuna Clinic. If timely treatment is not provided, there is a significant risk of severe complications for both the mother and the unborn baby. The patient learned about Helpster Charity through an informational poster and subsequently contacted Bablu Abdullah, a Helpster volunteer, to seek financial assistance for her treatment.

Most Tazmin Nahar was admitted to the hospital on November 08, 2025, with a diagnosis of breech presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both mother and newborn were discharged on November 12, 2025, in good health. Her sister came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic and Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Her sister was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

The doctor’s prognosis indicates that performing LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) will significantly reduce the risk to both the mother and the baby by ensuring a safe and controlled delivery. Given the breech presentation and reduced fetal movement at term, LUCS offers the best chance for the birth of a healthy baby while preventing birth asphyxia, trauma, or fetal distress. Timely surgical intervention will also protect the mother from complications such as prolonged labor, uterine rupture, or emergency surgery. If the condition is left untreated, the baby may suffer from severe oxygen deprivation, birth injury, or even stillbirth, and the mother’s life could also be at serious risk. Therefore, LUCS is a lifesaving procedure for both the patient and her child.
