Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Md. Abu Rayhan is a bright and studious 13-year-old Madrasa student who loves reading and dreams of becoming a school teacher, living with his parents and two brothers in a family that depends on his father’s daily labor income of only 8,000 taka per month. Despite their close bond, the family struggles to cover basic needs, leaving them unable to afford specialized medical treatment. Rayhan’s condition has worsened over the past ten days, with severe throat pain, high fever, and difficulty swallowing, disrupting his studies and daily life. Without proper treatment, his illness could lead to serious complications and long-term health problems. After learning about Helpster from ENT specialist Dr. Sajjadur Rahman, Rayhan’s parents contacted Bablu Abdullah, hoping for support to restore their son’s health and protect his future.

Medical history

Md Abu Rayhan was admitted to the hospital on October 31, 2025, with Peri-tonsillar abscess. On the same day, doctor conducted Tonsillectomy. After two days, he was discharged on November 01, 2025, in good health. His father and mother came to the hospital to receive him. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. His father was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Outcome

The doctor explained that surgical removal of the tonsils (tonsillectomy) will relieve Abu Rayhan from repeated throat infections, fever, and swallowing difficulties, allowing him to regain a normal quality of life. Successful treatment will also prevent frequent absences from work and reduce the financial burden of repeated medications. If left untreated, his condition may progress to serious complications such as peritonsillar abscess, obstructive sleep apnea, or chronic infection that can further weaken his health. Early surgery is therefore strongly advised to ensure long-term recovery and prevent life-threatening complications.
