Khalil is a lively four-year-old boy with poor family background. He enjoys watching cartoons and playing around his siblings. Khalil loves reading and storytelling. His dream is to become a doctor one day so he can treat the sick and help improve the health of his community. He is admired at school for her curiosity and determination to learn. Khalil,was healthy until three days ago when he developed a high-grade fever accompanied by chills and intense body weakness. He became very lethargic and refused to eat, and his parents noticed he was vomiting intermittently. On the second day, his lips appeared pale, and he complained of severe headache and dizziness. Concerned, his parents brought him to the hospital. Investigations confirmed a diagnosis of severe Malaria/Plasmodiasis, and he was started on intravenous antimalarial therapy with close monitoring, including hydration, fever management, and monitoring for complications, was initiated.

After falling seriously ill with high grade fever, accompanied by chills,and intense body weakness and became lethargic and refused to eat.His parent noticed she is vomiting and her lips became dry.Khalil struggled to keep up with school and daily life. His family, worried and without enough money for treatment, turned to Helpster Charity for support. Thanks to Helpster Charity, Khalil was evaluated and investigated in UMD hospital and diagnosed with Severe Malaria. He was admitted and had antimalarials injections, intravenous fluids and other supportive treatment in the hospital for 3 days. Slowly, he recovered, symptoms subsided, and he regained his strength.He was discharged home with hia parents, and he can return to school. Khalil and his family are deeply thankful to Helpster Charity for their kindness and timely help that gave him a second chance at health and hope.

Khalil's severe malaria/Plasmodiasis condition is critical due to complications from poor management at home and the risk of death if not treated. However, with proper hospital care, the prognosis is likely good. he's currently receiving antimalarial medication, intravenous fluids, and close monitoring to manage her life-threatening condition and support his recovery.
