Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Prince is the second-born twin in his family and lives with his parents and grandparents in a rural setting. The family resides in a mud-walled house and lacks access to safe, clean water for domestic use. His parents depend on irregular casual jobs to support the household, making life financially challenging. According to the aunt who brought Prince to the hospital, prior to admission, Prince developed a high fever and rapid breathing, followed by multiple episodes of convulsions. During the seizures, his eyes were fixed, and both the upper and lower limbs exhibited jerky movements. Each episode lasted up to ten minutes and was followed by periods of drowsiness and reduced responsiveness. Prince was initially rushed to the nearest dispensary, where he was assessed and immediately referred to our hospital for urgent medical care. While at the hospital, the aunt learned about Helpster Charity through the hospital social worker and a community health volunteer, who explained that the organization supports underprivileged children with medical care; she had raised concern about inability to pay for the medical treatment. Following a social assessment that confirmed the family’s vulnerable socio-economic status, Prince was enrolled for assistance to ensure he could receive the necessary treatment.
Medical history
Prince was admitted with severe malaria complicated by severe anemia and received urgent treatment with the support of Helpster Charity Organisation. At the health facility, he was started on appropriate antimalarial therapy to clear the malaria parasites and given supportive care, including close monitoring of vital signs. Due to the severity of the anemia, he was treated with blood transfusion and iron supplementation to restore his hemoglobin levels and improve oxygen delivery to the body. Following treatment, Prince showed steady recovery, with resolution of fever, improved strength, and normalization of appetite and activity. He was discharged in stable condition and continues to do well, and his family is grateful to Helpster Charity Organisation for making timely, life-saving treatment possible.
Prognosis
Prince’s prognosis is good with timely and appropriate treatment. Severe malaria and febrile convulsions are serious conditions, but early medical intervention significantly improves outcomes. Severe anaemia can be managed by transfusion. With antimalarial treatment, seizure control, and supportive care, blood transfusion and the antibiotcis, his fever and convulsions are expected to resolve, and he is likely to regain full strength without long-term complications.
