Khusi Khatun, an 18-year-old first-time mother, lives with her husband and elderly in-laws who rely entirely on her husband’s small daily labor income, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of the urgently needed delivery. Despite her gentle nature and dedication to caring for her household, her pregnancy has become high-risk as her baby remains in a breech position at 34+ weeks. Without proper medical intervention, she and her unborn child face dangerous complications during childbirth, including fetal distress or emergency surgical risks. The family has grown increasingly anxious as her due date approaches, fearing the worst if she cannot access treatment. After learning about Helpster through volunteer Sadika, they now hope for support to ensure the safe arrival of their first child.

The patient,Khusi khatun was admitted to City Clinic on 28th December 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 01th January 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest treatment option for Khusi Akter's delivery. With this procedure, both mother and baby are expected to have a stable and healthy outcome, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation. The surgery will help prevent life-threatening complications such as uterine rupture, fetal distress, or prolonged labor. If the condition is left untreated and a vaginal delivery is attempted, both Khusi and her baby could face severe complications, including the risk of losing the baby or endangering the mother’s life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore critical for a safe and successful delivery.
