Most. Roksana Begum is a brave 17-year-old girl who dreams of becoming self-reliant by sewing handmade clothes, but her family survives on her father Md. Osman Goni’s small income of only 6,000 taka a month as a hawker. Living in a fragile mud-made house with her mother Mst. Tahera Begum and her 4-year-old brother Md. She experienced relief from her severe colicky pain and gradually returned to stable health. After recovering well, she was discharged on 22.11.2025 in good condition.

According to the doctor, laparoscopic cholecystectomy will allow Roksana to recover fully and return to a normal, pain-free life, enabling her to continue her daily activities and pursue her dream of becoming self-reliant. The surgery is safe and effective, and it will permanently relieve the severe colicky pain and vomiting caused by the gallstones. If left untreated, the gallstones may increase in size and number, leading to constant unbearable pain, infection, or blockage of the gallbladder. In severe cases, the gallbladder can rupture and cause peritonitis, a life-threatening condition that can lead to death without urgent medical care. Therefore, timely surgery is crucial to protect her life and secure a healthier future.
