Raton Ray, an 18-year-old college student, is the only earning member of his family, surviving on just 3,000 taka per month while caring for his 74-year-old father, Puspo Ranjon Toren, who is unable to work after a cardiac arrest, and his paralyzed mother, Josna Rani. Despite his extreme hardship, Raton is responsible, hardworking, and determined to continue his education and become a teacher. Raton Ray was admitted to the hospital on November 17, 2025, with a high fever. After medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with enteric fever. Following seven days of treatment, his condition improved significantly, and he was discharged on November 23, 2025, in good health. His cousin accompanied him at the hospital and was present at the time of discharge. Raton expressed his sincere gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. The doctor explained that with conservative management, parenteral antibiotics, and proper supportive care under hospitalization, the patient has a very good chance of making a full recovery and returning to normal life. This treatment will help control the infection, reduce the prolonged fever, and prevent serious complications, allowing Raton to continue his education and fulfill his responsibilities toward his parents. With timely and complete treatment, no long-term effects are expected.
