Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Aysha Begum is a gentle and responsible young housewife who wishes for a safe childbirth so she can care for her daughter Alaina and support her elderly in-laws, Shahnaz and Anich. Her husband, Jahid Hasan, is a daily wage laborer earning about 9,000 taka per month, which is barely enough to manage food and household needs for their five-member family, making emergency medical costs impossible to afford. During her second pregnancy, she suffered prolonged labor at home for more than a day, but the baby could not be delivered normally and her condition became critical. After being taken to the hospital, doctors advised immediate surgery as the only way to save both her life and the unborn child. The family learned about Helpster Charity through miking and leaflets, and this support is now their only hope to overcome this medical emergency.

Medical history

After experiencing labour pain for more than 24 hours with failed home trial over 38 weeks of her pregnancy , she arrived at our hospital at 7.00AM in 1st December 2025, where doctors performed an ultrasound and clinical examination that revealed obstructed labor with severe oligohydramnios with fetal distress , making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful male baby. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. We discharged the patient at 10.30AM in 5th December 2025.The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.

Outcome

Doctors have advised LUCS as the safest and most effective treatment to protect both Aysha Begum and her unborn baby. With timely surgery, the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risk of injury, lack of oxygen, or loss of life, while also preventing serious complications for the mother. The procedure will allow Aysha to recover and return to caring for her family, including her young daughter and elderly in-laws. If the surgery is not performed, the baby may suffer severe distress or death, and Aysha could face life-threatening complications. Immediate treatment is crucial to ensure a healthy outcome for both mother and child.
